Praying, Living, & Loving the Franciscan Way
The 2nd presentation in our Earth Echoes Education Series on February 15 was presented by Paul Hayes and Martha Bergland , authors of the biography, “Studying Wisconsin, The Life of Increase Lapham”. They shared much information about his life as Wisconsin’s first Scientist , researcher of weather, native trees and grasses, climate and geology and much more. It was a fascinating presentation filled with interesting facts on the history of science in our state.

How perfect to have the holiday of Valentine’s Day which celebrates LOVE usher in the Lenten season which also celebrates LOVE. This Ash Wednesday when you hear, "Remember you are dust and to dust you will return," celebrate that you-we are part of Earth, matter through which Divinity manifests itself.
