https://stanncenter.org/5-million-capital-grant-received-to-complete-bucyrus-campus/ Every year, we create greeting cards and mail them to our donors. Our latest set features photography by our own Sr. Marcia! There is no set charge for these cards, but we ask that, if able, you make a donation that you feel is appropriate. Your contribution will help the retirement and ministry needs of our Sisters. If you would like to order these cards, please visit http://www.lakeosfs.org/support-us/cards-calendar/. Thank you!
The Motherhouse celebrated Pi Day with a contest of homemade pies! Organized by our own Heidi from Health Services, competition was fierce with 8 contenders, with a lovely mix of both sweet and savory pies. The winner of the Pi Day contest was Kristin J. with her Peanut Butter Oreo Pie. Coming in a close second, was Sr. KD with Lemon Meringue Pie. Third place was Sr. Kathy C. with her Cheeseburger Pizza Pie. Thank you to all who participated in the bake, and all those who participated in the sampling and voting!
Our beautiful Motherhouse chapel, adorned with colors and motif of the Lenten season, from environmental coordinator, Larry Willkomm. Inspired by the themes of Lent, use of the dried flowers show dying and suffering, but also the promise of new life, inviting and drawing people deeper into prayer.
