Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel, which means "God is with us."
Wishing you and yours a very blessed Christmas!

A new home for our frail, elderly sisters is being constructed on the grounds of the former St. Mary’s Academy. This is an opportunity to place a memorial paver along the entrance to the new convent or at the St. Mary’s Academy Memorial. For the latter, dark gray pavers will be used as a border around the Mary statue from the original grotto, and the inside will be filled with lighter pavers.
An engraved paver can honor someone living or deceased. Is there someone you would like to remember in a special way – a parent, sibling, friend, teacher or classmate? From The Franciscan Center of Baltimore
Tonight is only the 2nd time we have served dinner on a Tuesday. Thank you to tonight's volunteers including 3 of our board members. Sisters of St Francis of Assisi T. Rowe Price John's Hopkins University staff Baltimore city government employees St. Nicholas and his pal Rupert visited the Sisters at Clare Hall last week to celebrate his Feast Day!
Kudos to OSF Associate Patricia! She received a very impressive plaque thanking her and our Native Americans for their many endeavors in the larger community. Milwaukee Mayor Barrett presented the plaque to Pat at City Hall on November 20,2018. Pat had initiated, with the Indigenous tribes, the event covered by the media, to announce that November 2019 will be observed by celebrating Native Americans’ Month. One week will be specifically dedicated to the focus on public events of our Native Tribes, our Indigenous Peoples. Thank-you and congratulations Pat, for your untiring work in enhancing and furthering our knowledge and appreciation of our ancestry here on the tribal grounds of Nojoshing. (Pictured center with Directors of Associate Relations Sr. Ann (R) and Patricia (L).) Our Sisters are hard at work baking delicious Christmas cookies! Come down to the OSF Homemade Bakery & Craft Boutique this Saturday to purchase yours and many other homemade gifts! Supplies are limited.
