Praying, Living, & Loving the Franciscan Way
On Sunday, June 20th, Voces de la Frontera, a local Latinix support organization,
held a rally, launching a march to Madison, WI to highlight key issues: essential migrant workers should have driving cards to allow them to safely travel in Wisconsin, and a viable pathway to citizenship. Sr. Barbara Faris joined us representing the OSF community at the rally. Sr. Barbara joyfully engaged many of the participants with her ebullient nature and sincere respect. Music of African drums, Latino ballads and speakers representing Voces, migrant labor veterans, and the Indigenous Potawatomi tribe, animated the crowd. Marchers arrived at the state capital on Monday, June 28th
